SF On Budget Part 2 - Scoopz Ice-cream!

Despite trying to save as much as we can, we still can't bear the thought of forgoing desserts totally. Where else to satisfy our sweet tooth, other than the ice-cream store we used to frequent so often back then during our secondary school days?

Scoopz had been around in Parkway Parade for many years and still standing strong. They have definitely won the hearts of both the old and young with their smooth, creamy handmade ice-cream.

SF On Budget Part 1 - New World Mutton Soup

What happens when food bloggers are on tight budget?
Time for a switch to affordable and of course, delicious hawker food!

Apparently, SF had overspent this month and in need of some serious financial planning in December!

We stopped by Bedok Interchange Food Centre for a quick lunch before heading to Tampines Mall. Saw a couple of people enjoying bowls of piping hot mutton soup and we were enticed by the sweet aroma drifting from New World Mutton Soup.

1 Caramel - Food Bloggers' Sensual Sweet Indulgence

What does a food bloggers' outing mean? Food talk and camwhoring of course! Snap snap snap, munch munch munch, "How do you find the food so far?" "Which is your favourite among all?" Yea, this sums it all...

It is definitely enjoyable to meet fellow foodies where all of us have one thing in common, FOOD! And sampling cakes make the perfect outing for food bloggers because we do not have to worry about our food turning cold and we have ample time to capture our perfect shots, with the exception of baked souffle of course oops =P

Strawberry Shortcake ($8.90++)
Layers of fresh juicy strawberries, vanilla genoise and strawberry creme coated with puff pastry flakes baked to a golden brown perfection.

Privé Bakery Café - Brunch By The Harbour

We love eggs,
We love pancakes,
We simply love breakfast,
And we truly believe that such a blissful meal, or rather brunch should be enjoyed in a relaxed, quiet setting.
We were just like kids, smiling jubilantly upon seeing our favourite breakfast being dished out before us.

SF's Food Tasting @ Cafe Oliv

Boy were we glad that the torrential rain failed to dampen the spirits of those who had signed up for Sistafood's first food tasting session at Cafe Oliv. Despite the intimidating storm which threatened to flood the roads in the East, the turnout was exceptional and many had even arrived much earlier than expected! Thanks to all who came despite the bad weather and distance. Sistafood's food tasting session finally kicked off on a Halloween night at 7.15pm in high anticipation and excitement. Whoosh here we go~!
