Ah Lam Bak Chor Mee - Check Out The Roast Duck Next Door!

The legendary abalone noodles....without abalone?
Come in for a taste of the original...bak chor mee!

We used to frequent Ah Lam so often that we developed a phobia for bak chor me. It was until recently, we kind of miss our good old bestie, Ah Lam bak chor mee.

We stole a few mouthfuls from little sis. Handmade noodles were slightly firm and had a strong eggy taste. Smothering the noodles with the savoury black sauce and vinegar, it was good! The Q factor for the noodle could be better though. Vaguely remembered that their noodles used to be be more impressive, so delicious that we could just eat it on its own, or was it that our expectations had went up?

We saw the table next to us enjoying a plate of roast duck that simply looked delish! A couldn't resist the temptation and decided to order a plate for all to share! Now feast your eyes on these mouth-watering Roast Duck!

The intoxicating roasted fragrance already won half the battle. Crispy roast duck with a beautiful layer of fat lay within, it was obnoxiously evil yet so tantalizing!  The slightly pinkish meat was oH-sO-juicy and chewing was so "Easy, breezy, coverduck~". Haha alright, lame joke aside... Dipped with their special sauce, A gobbled down all the leftovers and mopped the plate clean!

It taste awesome! Was still pondering whether we should order it as it cost $12 for one quart!
But glad that we did order. There are some people who order one quart of roast duck just fot themselves only! No sharing! LOL
