Loong Fatt- Good Old Tradition

Loong Fatt started out 30 years ago and till now, it remains the King of tau sar piah in Singapore! Just look at the queue if you happened to be there, it's incredible!

We’ve been eating loong fatt’s tau sar piah years ago when it was still selling at 50 cents each. When the price increased to 60 cents, we still queued up for it, buying boxes of tau sar piah each time. We are once again back for loong fatt, and this time round, each piece is selling at 70 cents!

And the queue? Still going long and strong!

What is the secret to their tau sar piah?
Well, the thin buttery crust of the tau sar piah was flaky, savoury and crispy. We love it hot straight from the oven. And even when it turns cold, the crisp remains for a few days!
P/S: We saw the legendary founder of loong fatt who is 82 years old already!
